Public Works Supervisor
($48,732-$59,232 Yearly + excellent benefits) The City of Woodlake is seeking a candidate for a Public Works Supervisor. Candidate experience will determine classification and pay scale.
Public Works Supervisor. Under general direction of the City Manager and the Public Works Superintendent, The Public Works Supervisor plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the activities of the Public Works Department; provides highly responsible and technical staff assistance to the City Manager and the Public Works Superintendent; and does related work as required. The position reports to the Public Works Superintendent. Key duties may include, but are not limited to, directs and participates in the development of goals, objectives, policies and priorities. Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the activities of the Public Works Department personnel. Supervise in the fields of Parks, Lighting and Landscaping Districts, Streets and Roads. Reviews the evaluations of employee performance and takes appropriate disciplinary action where necessary. Assist in preparing and administering the Department budget. Forges effective professional relationships with other public works and community groups.
