Presentation of a 15-year service award to Santos Vigil
CONSENT CALENDAR
(a) Approval of the Minutes of the regular meeting held on June 24, 2010.
(b) Approval of the May monthly report of investments.
(c) Approval of the Warrants in the amount of $545,335.27.
SCHEDULED MATTERS
1. Discussion/Action - Conditional Use Permit 10-01 (Resolution 10-12) - the Applicant is proposing to construct a special event facility called Twilight Park, located near the southeast corner of Ropes Rd. (Avenue 342) and Blair Avenue (Road 204). The proposed special events center is located immediately east and south of US Tower industrial site.
2. Discussion/Action – approval of Resolution 10-13 fixing and determining the amount due the City of Woodlake for advances made to and for the account of the Woodlake Redevelopment Agency
3. Discussion/Action Annexation 10-01 – Approval of Resolution 10-14 initiating annexation 10-01 (Known as the City of Woodlake Annexation) to annex 70.76 acres to the City of Woodlake. The property is located south of Deltha Avenue, north of the Woodlake Airport and west of Valencia Boulevard.
Request from Doug Phillips, President Sentinel Butte Water Company for an exemption from Woodlake’s Utility Tax.
Introduction of Ordinance No. 576 amending the Woodlake Zoning Ordinance, reclassifying approximately 70.76 acres from Tulare County’s AE-20 (County) to the ML (limited industrial zone District.
4. Discussion/Action – approval of Resolution 10-15 finding that certain improvements will be of benefit to the Woodlake Redevelopment Agency.
5. Discussion/Action – approval of Resolution 10-16 adopting the targeted Employment Areas for the Sequoia Valley Enterprise Zone.
6. Discussion/Action – approval of Resolution 10-17 to submit an application for the 2010/11 Community Development Block Grant General Allocation application.
PUBLIC HEARING
7. Discussion/Action – approval of an agreement between the City of Woodlake, the other seven other cities, County of Tulare and the Tulare County Association of Governments and authorize the Mayor to sign said agreement.
8. Discussion/Action – Approval to award an agreement for “Engineer of Record” to Eco Logic, Waste Water Treatment Plant project, Construction Phase.
9. Discussion/Action – Approval of Resolution 10-18 approving a 2010/11 Community Development Block Grant General allocation Application and Commitment of CDBG Program Income.
10. Discussion/Action – Approval of an agreement between the City of Woodlake and the County of Tulare to provide Transit Services.
11. Discussion/Action – Approval to re-appoint Larry Ivey to the Planning Commission.
